Yahoo! Be sure 2 thousand employees laid off

Yahoo confirmed the company re-designing steps for the future. Even to make changes to the company, Yahoo! was forced to perform Termination 2,000 employees.

This was revealed in a statement Yahoo!. "Today, the company will begin the process of informing employees about these changes. As part of that effort, approximately two thousand people will be notified of the elimination of jobs or a gradual transition, "Yahoo! said as quoted by a statement on Thursday (04/05/2012).

In the same statement, Yahoo! CEO Scott Thompson said, "This action today is an important next step towards Yahoo's new, smaller, nimbler, more profitable and better equipped to innovate as fast as the needs of customers and the industry".

"Our goal is to return to the main purpose of putting the first diurutan users and advertisers. Unfortunately, to achieve that goal requires difficult decision to eliminate some positions. We really appreciate the people and all those who have contributed to Yahoo!, "he added.

Further through restructuring efforts, Yahoo intends to grow more quickly respond to customer needs and compete more effectively in areas where there is a chance to win.

Yahoo! Hoping to reach approximately USD375 million of annual savings after the completion of all transitional employees.
